Hepatologist

The Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time associate to join the Gastroenterology team at Brampton Civic Hospital. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

Accountabilities:

• Cover the Hepatology consult service
• Provide added support for our liver disease population

About the program

The Division of Gastroenterology at Osler covers various services from luminal gastroenterology advanced endoscopy and hepatology. The hepatology service offers fibroscan paracentesis and endoscopy to treat patients with various liver diseases such as viral hepatitis fatty liver and autoimmune liver disease.

Qualifications :

• Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have a fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Post-fellowship advanced training in Hepatology is a requirement
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population)

Osler is a primary clinical partner for Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine and is an academic community partner with the University of Torontos Temerty Faculty of Medicine and McMasters Michael G.
