What We Offer

• 40 hours per week
• $28.48 per hour
• 6% vacation pay
• Hands-on experience in the gas utility sector
• A temporary position for approximately 6 to 8 monthswith potential for permanent opportunities within our company

About the Role
As a Labourer youll support a dedicated work group with hands-on physically demanding work.

Day-to-day tasks may include:

• Performing general labour duties such as digging lifting carrying materials and site clean-up
• Assisting with construction service or maintenance activities related to natural gas systems
• Supporting installation repair or replacement of gas lines meters and related equipment
• Handling tools materials and equipment including setup and basic maintenance
• Responding to service-related work or emergency situations as required
  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma GED CAEC or equivalent
• Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
• Ability to complete pre-employment conditions such as background check and alcohol and drug screening
• Ability to work outdoors and handle physically active tasks
• Experience as an apprentice gasfitter or work in trades hydrovac concrete general labor landscaping construction mechanical or field service is an asset
