Position Summary
As a Roofing Foreman with SERVPRO of Prince Edward Island you will lead roofing crews in the execution of residential and commercial roofing projects. You will be responsible for on site supervision quality control safety compliance and ensuring work is completed efficiently safely and to specification. This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong technical roofing knowledge and the ability to manage crews in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily roofing operations on assigned projects
Lead and direct roofing crew members and subcontractors
Perform and assist with hands on roofing work as required
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project scope specifications manufacturer requirements and local building codes
Maintain production schedules and report progress to management
Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety procedures
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met
Coordinate materials equipment and site logistics
Maintain accurate project documentation including photos daily logs and job reports
Perform end of day and end of job debriefs with management and crew members
Communicate professionally with customers adjusters and project managers as required
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience as a roofing foreman or lead roofer
Strong knowledge of roofing systems including shingles flat roofing and related assemblies
Ability to read and interpret plans and scopes of work
Strong leadership organization and problem solving skills
Ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality and profitability
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Skills Physical Demands and Competencies
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat and cold
Ability to stand walk and work on feet for extended periods
Ability to climb ladders scaffolding and work at heights
Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and tools
Exposure to noise levels common on construction sites
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
