Responsibilities:
- Preserve vision and enhance quality of life for patients with glaucoma and complex optic nerve disease
- Evaluate diagnose and stage a full spectrum of glaucomatous conditions determining when medical laser or surgical intervention is indicated
- Perform comprehensive preoperative and postoperative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for glaucoma and cataractglaucoma surgeries
- Conduct precise evidencebased glaucoma procedures using modern surgical and laser technologies
- Provide attentive longitudinal care monitoring intraocular pressure optic nerve health visual fields and disease progression
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons optometrists technicians scribes and administrative staff to deliver seamless highquality glaucoma care
- Manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions with emphasis on primary and secondary glaucomas angleclosure disease complex anterior segment pathology and comanagement of cataract and glaucoma patients
