Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer you will play a vital role in implementing advanced automation technologies across high-profile data centers manufacturing sites and various industrial facilities. This role involves extensive travel with up to 30% of the time dedicated to on-site project engagements. Youll bring expertise in platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal Allen Bradley Rockwell Studio 5000Igntion Gold or Core and similar systems directly contributing to our clients operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Commissioning: Lead the startup and verification of PLC and DDC control systems ensuring reliable performance and smooth integration.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with engineers clients and electrical teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
  • Documentation & Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate detailed records of system operations and modifications ensuring all documentation aligns with the project status.
  • On-Site Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to subcontractors enforce quality control practices and troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2 years with Siemens TIA Portal Allen Bradley Rockwell Studio 5000 or similar platforms (such as Inductive Automation Ignition ICONICS).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven background in PLC installation commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC control theory electronics and electrical circuits.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and proactively address challenges.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Controls Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with DDC controls Modbus and BACnet protocols.
  • Familiarity with Tridium or other BAS control systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory and SAML 2.0.
