Job Summary
Position Description:
We are looking for a hands-on and autonomous Network & Infrastructure Engineer to provide operational support for network and infrastructure systems in our industrial plants. This position is focused on onsite support covering areas such as switching wireless structured cabling servers storage and datacenter operations. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable and standardized IT services across the shop floor and plant offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
. Support daily operations of local network and infrastructure components.
. Install configure and maintain network switches access points and cabling.
. Ensure proper documentation and labelling of plant infrastructure.
. Perform basic troubleshooting on physical and virtual servers.
. Provide hands-on support for storage systems and backup equipment.
. Assist in physical moves cabling upgrades and hardware replacements.
. Coordinate with central teams for escalations and project rollouts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Requirements
. 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network operations.
. Solid knowledge of switching (VLANs trunking basic routing).
. Experience with enterprise wireless solutions.
. Familiarity with server and storage environments.
. Good understanding of structured cabling and physical rack/patch panel management.
. Ability to work independently in an industrial environment.
. Basic troubleshooting skills and hands-on attitude.
. High level of English.
Nice to Have
. Experience in manufacturing or industrial sites.
. Familiarity with Cisco HPE or similar vendors.
. Understanding of datacenter layout and environment best practices.
. Knowledge of ticketing and ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
