This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights KY. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.
Available Shifts:
2nd Shift: Thursday-Sunday 12PM ET-10:30 PM ET
2nd Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 12PM ET-10:30 PM ET
2nd Shift: Friday-Monday 12PM ET-10:30 PM ET
** Work hours on Sundays for 2nd shift are 10AM-8:30PM ET
1st Shift: Monday-Friday with a rotating Saturday 6AM-2:30PM ET

Our Clinical Diagnostics teams are trusted partners for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) companies offering innovative solutions for drug testing laboratory quality control sepsis diagnosis prenatal screening and more. As a Lab Assistant in our clinical chemistry group youll play a crucial role in supporting these efforts and advancing healthcare.
DESCRIPTION:
As a Lab Assistant in our clinical chemistry group you will support the daily operations of our state-of-the-art laboratory. Your work will contribute to the development and delivery of diagnostic solutions that healthcare professionals rely on to make informed decisions. Youll be part of a team thats committed to accuracy quality and innovation in clinical diagnostics.
What Youll Do:
Process and manage clinical samples for various diagnostic tests
Assist in the preparation of reagents and materials for clinical chemistry assays
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Contribute to the efficient functioning of our lab services by performing essential support tasks
Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists and healthcare professionals
Education and Experience:
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Technical positions may require a certificate
Previous experience to provide the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education training & experience.
Years of experience refer to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge skills and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Years of experience are not to be used as the only determining factor in establishing the job class or making employment selection decisions.

Working Conditions and Environment:
Work is performed in a clinical environment.
Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stands twists waists squats and bends neck for 4--6 hours per day.
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists. Ability to make precise coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp and manipulate objects.
Frequent mobility required.
Occasional crouching stooping bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
Moderate lifting (or otherwise movement carrying setting and placement)of 15-30 lbs. with a maximum lift of 35 lbs.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
May interact with others relating and gathering sensitive information. Interaction includes diverse groups.
Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management. May require periods of intense concentration.
Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
