The CNA and/or MA is a member of the patient care team. These duties include patient preparation for surgery/procedure obtain patient vitals maintaining Big Board moving patients assist with bay/bed turnover restocking units and a variety clinical tasks in the pre-op setting.

- Able to make sound reasonable decisions.
- Highly organized
- Ability to concentrate on many detailed requests despite numerous interruptions.
- Demonstrates accountability professionalism openness; is receptive to change and exhibits creativity and innovation.
- Ability to identify and calmly handle inherently stressful situations with tact.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships with patients and staff.
- Seeks guidance direction and assistance when needed.
- Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities.
Experience Training & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of previous experience in a hospital based or ambulatory surgical center.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CNA or MA certification preferred.
