Join Embark Behavioral Health in Alpharetta as our Admissions Director where youll serve as the compassionate clinically informed first point of contact for youth and families seeking mental health support. This role blends clinical expertise relationship building care coordination and leadership making it ideal for a therapist who thrives in a fast-paced family-centered environment.
As a key member of our Leadership Team youll guide families through the admissions process conduct initial assessments and ensure each client is matched with the right level of care. Your work will directly support positive outcomes program growth and a seamless family experience.
Responsibilities
Admissions Coordination & Family Support
- Serve as the first clinical point of contact for families seeking care.
- Conduct intake assessments clinical evaluations and levelofcare recommendations.
- Educate families and referral partners on program services and care pathways.
- Review insurance benefits verify coverage and discuss financial responsibilities with transparency and empathy.
- Support families with resources crisis guidance and next-step planning when needed.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner closely with clinical administrative and billing teams to ensure smooth admissions and transitions of care.
- Supervise and support Case Managers; help set priorities aligned with program census needs.
- Participate in leadership meetings to provide insight on admissions trends operational needs and clinical considerations.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate timely records in Salesforce and BestNotes.
- Complete all required documentation in alignment with state regulations HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
- Ensure all legal consents treatment authorizations and compliance forms are handled accurately.
Outreach Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build and nurture strong relationships with referral partners schools providers and community agencies.
- Support program tours open houses and community events.
- Collaborate with Marketing and National Admissions teams to strengthen referral pipelines.
Clinical Support & Professional Development
- Provide clinical support as needed including assessment consultation and reviewing applications for clinical fit.
- Stay current on best practices traumainformed care and program model requirements through ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in a relevant field is required.
- Full clinical licensure in Georgia (LCSW LPC LMFT)required. A provisional license will not be accepted for this role.
- 12 years of experience conducting behavioral health assessments.
- Proficiency in administering suicide screening tools such as the C-SSRS.
