As a member of our team youll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional accounting services. Your responsibilities will include audit and accounts work both in-house and at client locations reviewing work assisting in the training of Trainees and working closely with Wellers Supervisors and Managers.

About you

  • Youre ACCA or ICAEW part-qualified with the certificate and some professional stage exams completed

  • You have demonstrable recent experience within an accountancy practice working on audits as well as completing bookkeeping accounts and tax assignments with exposure to a range of clients varying in both size and sector

  • You have a good current knowledge of compliance requirements

  • Youre proficient in accountancy and office software (e.g. Xero Sage QuickBooks Excel etc.)

  • Youre keen to provide an outstanding and professional service to our clients ensuring exceptional advice and maximum added value

  • Youre used to taking ownership of your work and demonstrating a proactive approach with strong commercial awareness

  • Youre a positive team player and an excellent communicator both with clients and colleagues
