About the Lab:
Huawei Europe Standardization and Industry Development Department is responsible for understanding the development trends of the macro environments industry eco-systems and the demand of associated technologies; identifying uncertainties risks and major industry opportunities which could affect the companys medium to long-term development and growth. Based in Europe but influencing globally and supporting the companys strategic decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement code performance optimization tools based on AI agent technology focusing on enhancing code efficiency and reducing resource consumption.
Design and build profiling analysis tools to identify performance bottlenecks generate data-driven optimization insights and support technical decision-making.
Collaborate with the researchers to integrate AI agent capabilities into existing development workflows ensuring tool usability and compatibility.
Participate in requirement analysis technical documentation writing and iterative improvement of the tools based on user feedback.
Basic Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Artificial Intelligence or related fields.
Solid foundation in programming (proficiency in Python/C preferred) and software development best practices.
Basic understanding of AI agent frameworks code performance optimization principles or profiling tools (e.g. Py-Spy perf TensorBoard).
Strong problem-solving skills self-motivation and ability to work independently or in a team.
Good communication skills and proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
Prior experience with AI agent development code optimization projects or profiling tool implementation.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms applied in software engineering (e.g. code analysis automated debugging).
