Our client is seeking a highly motivated detail-oriented Senior Procurement Buyer to support Global Procurement Operations during a leave coverage period. This independent role will report directly to the Director of Global Procurement Operations (US) and play a critical part in ensuring efficient Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and effective vendor onboarding across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with vendor master data management and P2P processes using SAP and/or Ariba along with strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Onboarding & Master Data Management
Lead end-to-end onboarding of new vendors ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with global standards
Maintain and improve vendor master data quality to support downstream purchasing activities
Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met
Align local vendor master data processes with global standardization efforts
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations
Act as the primary point of contact for the Americas region for P2P-related escalations
Review and/or approve purchase requisitions as required
Provide guidance and support on P2P processes from requisition through receipt
Compliance & Risk Management
Partner with internal business functions to ensure procurement and vendor onboarding activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
Identify assess and help mitigate risks related to vendor onboarding and procurement operations
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
Proactively address vendor data onboarding and P2P issues to ensure smooth operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement operations vendor onboarding and vendor master data management
Hands-on experience with SAP and/or Ariba P2P systems
Proficiency in SAP and/or Ariba
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
Experience using SharePoint
