As our Sales Development Representative (SaaS / Sustainability) youll become a key motion of our sales engine nurturing relationships with sustainability and packaging decision-makers at the worlds leading brands and manufacturers.
Now were looking for a motivated and curious Sales Development Representative to support and grow our B2B sales activities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take their first steps in SaaS sales develop a deep understanding of the entire sales funnel and grow into a future Account Executive.
Tasks
- Own the Top-of-Funnel: Your core mission is to hunt identify and qualify high-potential leads (Outbound) and to handle incoming leads from Marketing (Inbound).
- Become a Prospecting Expert: You will proactively engage target decision-makers using a multi-channel approach including strategic emails phone calls video messaging and LinkedIn.
- Master the First Conversation: You will be the first human touchpoint for our future customers. Youll conduct high-level qualification calls to understand their sustainability challenges timelines and decision-making processes.
- Book Qualified Meetings: Your primary goal is to book high-quality discovery calls and product demos for our Account Executives. Your success is measured by the number of qualified opportunities you generate.
- Partner with your Account Executive: You will work in a tight-knit pod with one or two Account Executives strategizing on how to penetrate key target accounts and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Be the Ears on the Ground: Youll gather crucial market feedback and customer insights sharing them with the Sales Marketing and Product teams to refine our messaging and strategy.
- Maintain Flawless Data Hygiene: You will meticulously track all activities and notes in our CRM ensuring a smooth and informed handover of qualified leads to the sales team.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in German and English (C1) are essential for communicating with decision-makers across Europe.
- Resilience and Drive: You are highly motivated and see rejection as a learning opportunity not a roadblock. You have a proactive hunter attitude and are not afraid to pick up the phone.
- High Curiosity and Ability to Learn: You have a Day 1 mentality. You genuinely love to learn absorb feedback and are constantly looking for ways to improve your skills.
- First Commercial Experience: Youve had a taste of a client-facing or commercial role. This could be an internship or job in sales business development customer success high-end retail or even competitive hospitality.
- Intellectual Horsepower: Youre able to quickly grasp complex topics (like our SaaS platform and EU packaging regulations) and explain them in simple clear terms.
- A Genuine Passion for Our Mission: You are truly interested in sustainability climate tech and helping global brands make a real-world impact.
- CRM Proficiency: You have hands-on daily experience working with a modern CRM (like HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage leads track activities and build pipelines.
