At Holland Bikes we ride with passion !
We are a Dutch-French company renting and selling classic and electric bikes accessories and offering repair services but above all we organize guided bike tours in some of the most beautiful cities : Paris Nice Bordeaux Lyon New York and of course Versailles
To help visitors discover this iconic destination in a unique way we are looking for our next Front Desk Agent & Tour Guide to join our Holland Bikes Tours & Rentals shop in Versailles.
The position:
- 16-hour weekend contract
- Saturday & Sunday
- From April to October
You will be the first smile our visitors meet and often the last memory they take home.
Tasks
As a Front Desk Agent you represent Holland Bikes on the ground.
Your goal: to deliver a smooth friendly and memorable customer experience whether for a bike rental or a guided tour.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guiding and advising customers
- Assisting customers with bike and guided tour bookings
- Leading guided bike tours in Versailles
- Checking bikes before and after rentals or tours
- Using our booking and rental software on a daily basis
- Handling payments and cash register management
- Managing the bike fleet to ensure bikes are clean well-organized and always ready to ride
Requirements
- A first experience in tourism is required (training provided upon arrival)
- You enjoy cycling interacting with people and sharing French history
- You are fluent in French and English
- You live in Versailles or nearby
- Knowledge of bike mechanics is a plus
