Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with strong expertise in Snowflake architecture cloud platforms and database administration. The role involves managing optimizing and securing Snowflake environments while ensuring high availability performance and cost efficiency across cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and maintain Snowflake environments on cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Administer Snowflake accounts roles privileges and implement role-based access control (RBAC).
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
Perform performance tuning and query optimization using clustering keys materialized views and partitioning.
Implement and manage cost optimization strategies for compute and storage.
Apply security best practices including encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Support ETL processes and integrate Snowflake with various data sources and tools.
Automate administrative and operational tasks using Python Shell scripting and SnowSQL.
Collaborate with data engineering analytics and cloud teams for seamless operations.
