About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of managers employees and daily office operations. The successful candidate will manage documentation financial processing records management and client communication in a professional onsite work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to managers and staff
Proofread and format Word documents
Process invoices and manage accounts payable activities
Track and maintain records using Excel
Answer and respond to phone calls and emails
Prepare documents reports and memos as required
Copy scan fax file and manage digital records
Review and process expense claims
Act as a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Support daily office operations and administrative activities
Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Minimum one year of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
Minimum one year of experience using Excel and Outlook
Minimum one year of experience with accounts payable and or accounts receivable.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the Government of Alberta or a similar public sector environment
Candidate is currently located in Edmonton and able to work onsite
