The Project Manager will lead the day-to-day management of a high-risk high-visibility and complex initiative ensuring strict adherence to state project management standards. This fully onsite role requires strong leadership risk management and stakeholder coordination experience in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules milestones and performance metrics as well as conducting project status briefings for various audiences.

Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of the project implementation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders project team members and agency staff.
- Attend and facilitate daily in-person and virtual project meetings.
- Manage project schedules milestones and performance metrics.
- Track and report project data using a portfolio tool.
- Ensure compliance with Project Management Standards.
- Maintain and manage the project calendar and deliverables.
- Conduct project status briefings for internal and external audiences including oversight committees.
- Identify manage and mitigate project risks.
- Lead day-to-day management of the project implementation.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 10 years of experience managing large-scale high-complexity projects.
- Documented risk management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational multitasking and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 10 years of experience managing large-scale high-complexity projects.
- Documented risk management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
