Job Summary
To provide supervision and oversight in the pharmacy department or satellite; ensuring that the pharmacy provides the appropriate level of pharmaceutical care services to patients; while complying with all state and federal laws or rules governing the practice of pharmacy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Minimum Work Experience: Required Licenses/Certifications
- Active License as registered pharmacist in the state of Texas
- Sterile Compounding Certification
- Registered as a preceptor with TSBP
Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities:
- Supervisory and leadership training and/or experience.
- Ability to effectively direct and/or supervise personnel as appropriate.
- Ability to deal effectively with community.
- Ability to successfully train personnel.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
