About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for data center construction projects. This role works closely with project management and field leadership to coordinate workforce planning manage daily site operations enforce safety and quality standards and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active sites while maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Workforce Management

Oversee and schedule technician manpower across assigned projects and regions
Coordinate workforce planning labor loading and resource allocation with Project Managers
Administer and comply with applicable union agreements including staffing layoffs and recalls
Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily timecards by field leadership
Conduct regular site visits based on project proximity and complexity
Maintain awareness of full project scope schedule and work sequencing

Safety & Compliance

Ensure jobsite safety requirements are clearly understood and enforced
Lead and support on-site safety meetings with foremen and leads
Review and communicate safety programs and material safety information during project start-up
Identify correct and report safety hazards or incidents
Support a zero-injury safety culture across all projects

Project Oversight & Quality Control

Participate in pre-construction activities including constructability reviews and scheduling
Review plans specifications estimates and budgets for accuracy and feasibility
Monitor construction progress productivity and adherence to quality standards
Support testing documentation and as-built completion requirements
Ensure proper collection storage and submission of test results and project closeout documentation

Leadership & Communication

Mentor train and develop foremen leads and technicians
Hold field leadership accountable for performance documentation and quality
Communicate scope changes schedule impacts and field conditions to Project Managers
Maintain positive working relationships with clients project teams and trade partners
Assist in identifying future project opportunities and manpower needs

Qualifications

10 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role
Strong experience supporting large-scale mission-critical or data center projects
OSHA 30 certification required
Proven experience working within union environments
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with construction management software
AutoCAD experience a plus
Strong knowledge of building systems safety regulations and quality standards
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
Ability to travel regularly across multiple job sites
Ability to remain calm focused and effective under pressure
