CVT Tech-Cath LabThe Cardiovascular Technologist I is a professional without Cath lab &/or interventional experience training to assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures. He/she will train to assist the physician during the procedures and operate specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The Cardiovascular Technologist I is responsible for maintaining sterile technique during procedures and assisting the CathEP Lab Manager/Director in the maintenance of a safe and efficient environment dealing primarily with adults eighteen to sixty-five and geriatric patients over the age of cardiovascular technologist I may participates in the cath or EP call rotation once appropriately oriented and checked off on clinical and operational competencies.

requirement:

Shift: 7am-5pm 4 x 10hr daysOn Call- 15 shifts per 4 weeksFriday thru Sunday Call - 1 to 2 per monthCath Lab Experience 2 years preferredScrubs: Hospital provided scrubsACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 DaysBLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
