Job Summary

Title: Senior Mobile Developer (Android & iOS)

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Day-to-Day Job Duties:

(What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
Design develop and maintain native Android and iOS applications.
Build scalable reusable and maintainable mobile application architectures.
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality mobile user interfaces.
Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Ensure mobile applications meet performance security and scalability standards.
Manage application deployments to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Perform code reviews enforce coding standards and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with product UX and backend teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide support during application releases.

Basic Qualifications (Required skills with minimum experience):

Minimum 8 years of experience in mobile application development.
Minimum 6 years of strong hands-on experience in Android development using Java Kotlin Android SDK and Jetpack components.
Minimum 6 years of strong hands-on experience in iOS development using Swift Objective-C and iOS SDK.
Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing mobile application architecture patterns such as MVC MVVM or Clean Architecture.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs JSON and third-party SDKs.
Minimum 5 years of strong understanding and implementation of mobile security best practices.
Minimum 5 years of proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Minimum 4 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Minimum 4 years of experience using mobile testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit Espresso XCTest Appium).
Minimum 4 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Travel
This position requires someone who can travel at least 3 days per week. Preferred location is Atlanta Georgia
Degree
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have (But not mandatory):

Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
Experience with mobile performance optimization techniques.
Exposure to cloud services such as Firebase or AWS.
Experience working on banking fintech or enterprise mobile applications.
Published applications on Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
