To keep pace with our continued growth we are in need of a Funds Lawyer who has solid experience in investment funds and a deep understanding of Canadian securities regulations.

As a Caravel Immigration Lawyer You will:
- Draft review and advise on offering documents fund agreements and disclosure materials across various fund structures (e.g. mutual funds pooled funds limited partnerships).
- Provide legal support on fund registration governance and regulatory filings.
- Advise on compliance matters affecting fund managers portfolio managers and exempt market dealers.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in the Canadian investment funds space and assess their impact on products and operations.
What would YOU Bring:
- 8 years of experience in investment funds asset management or securities law ideally from an in-house legal team.
- Familiarity with the Canadian securities regulatory environment and fund-related instruments.
- Actively licensed and in good standing as a lawyer in a Canadian province.
