In this Histology Tech position you will be hands-on with the full histology workflow: receive process embed cut (microtomy) stain and mount tissue sections with meticulous attention to quality control. Youll perform routine and specialized stains troubleshoot staining and processing issues and verify slide quality before pathologist review. Youll maintain instruments and laboratory supplies uphold rigorous safety and documentation standards and ensure accurate data entry in the laboratory information management system (LIMS). Collaboration with pathologists and lab teammates is essential including assisting with intraoperative consultations where appropriate and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
