Le groupe Transmission Distribution et Énergies Renouvelables se spécialise dans la réalisation efficace et économique de projets de transport et de distribution délectricité (T&D) depuis la conceptualisation du projet jusquà lingénierie lapprovisionnement la construction et la mise en service.

Votre rôle au sein de léquipe :

• Établir les critères de conception liés au domaine assigné en fonction des exigences contractuelles spécifiées et conformément aux bonnes pratiques dingénierie.
• Réaliser la conception des ouvrages structuraux y compris les bâtiments les structures et les fondations.
• Préparer les calculs dingénierie requis les faire vérifier approuver et archiver conformément aux procédures du système qualité en vigueur.
• Rédiger les spécifications techniques et superviser la préparation des dessins.
• Préparer des propositions des études de faisabilité des conceptions préliminaires des estimations dingénierie et des calendriers.
• Collaborer avec léquipe projet à travers les différentes phases du projet de la conception préliminaire à la conception détaillée la construction la mise en service et la clôture.
• Effectuer des revues conceptuelles et des revues par les pairs des conceptions dessins et rapports dingénierie.

LIngénieur(e) en structures recherché(e):

• Baccalauréat en génie civil / structural.
• Minimum de 5 ans dexpérience en conception assistée par ordinateur dinfrastructures en génie civil et structural.
• Membre en règle de lordre des ingénieurs du Québec ou de lOntario ou de la Colombie-Britannique.
• Professionnel de lindustrie avec une expérience dans les installations de transport et de distribution délectricité les centrales dénergie renouvelable et les installations industrielles lourdes.
• Expérience approfondie en conception de bâtiments structures en acier béton maçonnerie travaux architecturaux et civils sur site selon les codes et normes de conception canadiennes et américaines y compris lanalyse et la conception de fondations pour équipements rotatifs lourds.
• Solides compétences informatiques et maîtrise des logiciels DYNA6.1 PCA et de la suite MS Office.
• La maîtrise du logiciel Catia ou Revit est considérée comme un atout.
• Maîtrise de langlais parlé et écrit. La connaissance du français est considérée comme un atout.
• Expérience dans la rédaction de rapports clairs et complets de notes techniques et de présentations pour les clients.

The Transmission Distribution & Renewables group specializes in efficient and economical delivery of Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Projects from project conceptualization through engineering procurement construction and commissioning.

Your role within the team:

• Establish design criteria related to the area of assignment based upon specified contractual requirements and in line with good engineering practices.
• Perform design of Structural works including buildings structures and foundations.
• Prepare engineering calculations as required and have them checked approved and filed in line with the relevant quality system procedure.
• Prepare technical specifications and supervise the preparation of drawings.
• Prepare proposals feasibility studies conceptual design engineering estimates and schedules.
• Work with project team through the various project stages from conceptual design to detailed design construction commissioning and close-out.
• Perform conceptual and peer reviews of engineering designs drawings and reports.

The ideal candidate:

• A degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in computerized design of Civil Structural Engineering infrastructure.
• Registered member of Engineers in Quebec or Ontario or British Columbia.
• Ability to work independently and to prioritize multiple and multidisciplinary projects.
• Proficiency with Catia or Revit software is considered an asset.
• An industry professional with experience in power transmission and distribution facilities renewable power plants and heavy industrial facilities.
• In-depth design experience in buildings structural steel concrete masonry architectural and plant site civil works using Canadian and US design codes and standards including the analysis and design of foundations for heavy rotating equipment.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with DYNA6.1 PCA design programs and MS Office.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. French language skill is considered an asset.
