This on-site role will focus on developing and maintaining program management plans while coordinating with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with program coordination tracking deliverables and supporting program management activities in a government environment. This position requires on-site presence in Huntsville Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting program management activities and ensuring smooth coordination between various teams and stakeholders. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and maintain comprehensive program management plans covering:Scope managementSchedule trackingResource allocationRisk managementQuality controlCoordinate activities across internal teams contractors and stakeholdersSupport smooth program delivery through effective communication and coordinationProactively monitor program progress using established tracking methodsSupport KPI development and tracking to measure program successAssist with risk and issue identification documentation and managementProcess change requests according to established proceduresPrepare and distribute regular status updates to program stakeholdersCoordinate and document program meetings and action itemsMaintain program documentation and ensure information is current and accessibleSupport program leadership in decision-making through data collection and analysisAnalyze existing and emerging DoD Army and AMC policies to determine impact and implementation requirementsResearch and evaluate policy alternatives and best practices across government and industryDevelop policy recommendations based on thorough analysis and stakeholder requirementsReview proposed policies and project deliverables for compliance with higher-level regulations and directivesSupport the development and maintenance of AMC policy frameworksConduct gap analyses between existing policies and organizational/project requirementsMonitor policy effectiveness and recommend improvementsDevelop metrics to measure policy implementation and effectivenessProvide policy interpretation guidance to project teams and stakeholdersAssist in resource planning and allocation to meet program objectivesTrack deliverables and ensure timely completion of program milestonesSupport quality assurance processes throughout the program lifecycleServe as a liaison between program management and functional teamsAssist in identifying and implementing process improvementsEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience2 years of experience in program coordination project support or related roleExperience supporting program documentation and reportingBackground in stakeholder coordination and communicationFamiliarity with program management tools and methodologiesRequired Skills and Competencies:Knowledge of program management principles and practicesExperience with program planning and documentationUnderstanding of schedule tracking and managementFamiliarity with budget monitoring and resource planningBasic knowledge of risk management processesStrong organizational and coordination skillsExperience supporting status reporting and communicationsProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel PowerPoint and Project)Attention to detail and accuracy in documentationStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesExperience coordinating meetings and maintaining minutes/action itemsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teamsBasic understanding of change management processesExperience tracking deliverables and milestonesProblem-solving skills and proactive approach to issuesAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience supporting documentation management and organizationKnowledge of basic data collection and analysis techniquesAbility to obtain and maintain required security clearancesWillingness to work on-site in Huntsville AlabamaDesired Skills and Competencies:Experience working in Army or DoD environmentsKnowledge of government contracting processesFamiliarity with Agile or other project management methodologiesExperience with project management software (MS Project Jira etc.)Background in IT program supportUnderstanding of government budget processesExperience with earned value managementKnowledge of quality management systemsExperience supporting program reviews and auditsBackground in stakeholder managementFamiliarity with process improvement methodologiesExperience with contract management supportKnowledge of government reporting requirementsUnderstanding of acquisition lifecycle processesExperience in a matrix management environmentBackground in technical program coordinationKnowledge of information security requirementsClearance Requirement:Secret security clearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
