Director, Finance

Summary:The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial stewardship of the company. Primarily responsible for FP&A activities they combine operational and strategic concepts manage accounting and financial control functions and establish a financial strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business. They prepare quarterly and annual reports and financial forecasts for upper management and investors. As a leader of the business the Director of Finance will interact and report to executive management shareholders and the companys Board of and Responsibilities: Daily management of the companys FP&A and Program Finance functionsEstablish and maintain Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and quarterly forecastsAssist with ongoing tax bank and management reporting requirementsLead transaction readiness effortsPerform analysis and recommendations of potential M&A targetsInteract with Private Equity sponsors and present to companys Board of DirectorsPreparation of quarterly project budgets or Estimates at Completion (EACs)Provide Ad Hoc support to project management and manufacturing Work with the corporate staff in support of preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related footnotes Supervise the percentage of completion accounting for the companyInteract with finance and accounting department of the corporate office in Plano Ongoing maintenance of corporate rate structureImplement document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting Support financial compliance of government contracts and auditsResponsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Accurate and timely production of all financial information Oversee audits tax preparation and accounting duties for the other duties as and Work Experience:Bachelors in business administration accounting finance or related or Certified Public AccountantMinimum of five years experience managing employeesProject based accounting and manufacturing accounting experience preferredM&A and Transaction experience preferredExperience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred GAAP knowledge and financial reporting technical skillsCredibility ethical full disclosure and clean financial historyExperience with IFS & OneStream ApplicationsWork Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:Employee must be eligible for a US Security ClearanceKnowledge Skills and Abilities:List of needed knowledge skills and abilities to successfully accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the interpret financial data contained in reports and day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing in a high energy high volume rapidly changing multitask and manage multiple large to small projects in a cross functional personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves a high degree of responsibility and to tackle complicated issues by evaluating information gathered and organized to arrive at an thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas people by giving them timely constructive feedback and and effective communication skills in both written and spoken how to use the computers including such tasks as turning the computer on and off locating and opening files navigate to websites perform searches and download of computer applications including email databases word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office).Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to excellent service to internal and external timely informed decisions that take into account the facts goals constraints and risks with information gathered and analyzed.
