Endless adventures are just minutes from home including world-class fly-fishing on the Bitterroot River skiing at Lost Trail Powder Mountain numerous hiking/mountain biking trails and countless Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive medical eye examsDiagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ocular conditions including glaucoma diabetic retinopathy macular degeneration uveitis dry eye disease corneal disorders and neuro-ophthalmic conditionsInterpret advanced diagnostic testing (OCT visual fields fundus photography corneal topography etc.)Perform in-office procedures such as intravitreal injections laser trabeculoplasty YAG capsulotomy/iridotomy and minor lid procedures (as desired)Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive eye healthCollaborate with optometrists primary care providers and the broader medical staffMaintain accurate and detailed medical recordsQualifications:MD or DO with completion of an accredited ophthalmology residencyBoard certified or board eligible in OphthalmologyEligible for Montana medical licensureStrong medical ophthalmology background with excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skillsCommitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered careOutstanding communication and teamwork abilitiesDesire to live and practice in a rural community with world-class outdoor recreationPreferred (but not required):Fellowship training in glaucoma cornea uveitis neuro-ophthalmology or medical retinaExperience with intravitreal injections retinal and/or glaucoma lasersJoin a nationally recognized Top 20 Critical Access Hospital that truly values provider well-being and quality of life.
