Senior Associate Client Relationship Management
(Senior Project Risk Advisor)
WTW Italy is seeking a Senior Associate Client Relationship Management with a strong focus on new business development and management of existing financial clients.
The role will act as a Senior Project Risk Advisor / Lender supporting lenders and sponsors in assessing structuring and managing project and structured finance risks.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen client advisory capabilities and technical expertise in project and finance-related risk contributing to WTWs growth strategy in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with financial institutions lenders sponsors and investors acting as a trusted senior advisor.
- Drive new business origination identifying commercial opportunities within the Italian and international finance market.
- Manage a portfolio of existing finance clients ensuring high service standards client retention and cross-selling opportunities.
- Advise lenders and financiers on project structured and infrastructure finance risks including construction operational political and credit-related exposures.
- Lead and coordinate risk advisory and insurance solutions for complex finance transactions from origination to financial close.
- Act as senior project risk advisor supporting due diligence processes risk assessments and lender requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (broking analytics legal and international WTW offices) to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals pitch presentations and client negotiations.
- Monitor market trends regulatory developments and risk dynamics affecting the finance and lending sectors.
- Support junior colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.
QualificationsThe Requirements
- 3/7 years of experience in client relationship management project finance structured finance risk advisory or insurance brokerage preferably within a global advisory firm.
- Strong understanding of lender-driven risk requirements project finance structures and financial close processes.
- Proven track record in new business development and revenue generation within the finance or banking sector.
- Solid experience managing senior-level client relationships with banks financial institutions or corporate finance teams.
- Excellent analytical and advisory skills with the ability to translate complex risks into practical solutions.
- Strong negotiation presentation and communication skills.
- People management
- Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
