Compensation: In accordance with California law the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary: The Talent Development Specialist within the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program is responsible for supporting contract compliance by monitoring and evaluating staff professional development status and identifying training and development to meet requirements that align with the Workforce Development Plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement Workforce Development Plans Training Plans and Staffing Matrix for compliance performance standards and refunding applications.
- Plan develop and implement staff development in-service trainings and new hire orientation including creating and curating content for agency policies procedures and functions.
- Track verify and maintain records of staff professional development hours certificates and compliance with federal state and agency requirements.
- Conduct and validate Head Start parent participant surveys research and prepare responses and reports for leadership planning committees and performance standard requirements including cost and participant information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required social services field strongly preferred
- 3 years experience providing administrative and program support working with state or federally funded educational and social services programs involving parents and children required
- 1 years experience in a social service setting or a current/former Head Start parent required
- Bilingual English Spanish Tagalog and/or Korean preferred
