What to Expect: As an Industrial Repair Technician you will perform advanced troubleshooting repair and installation work on electrical hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical production equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures.

Multi-Shift Openings: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.
1st shift: Monday Friday 7 a.m. 3 p.m.
2nd shift:Monday Friday 3p.m. 11 p.m.
Your Role Day to Day: As an Industrial Repair Technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting root-cause analysis repair and maintenance of electrical hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and CNCbased production equipment and controls (mills lathes grinders presses and more) using strong knowledge of machinery operation schematics and OEM documentation. Daily tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance diagnosing motor and electrical failures testing equipment after repairs and ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and critical safety device protocols. The role also requires accurate CMMS documentation proper use of tools and precision tools (multi meters).
What you will have (Basic Requirements):
2 years of minimum cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance corrective preventive and testing in a manufacturing facility or like industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams
Must have knowledge of Critical Safety Devices and functionality
Experience utilizing precision tools
Top Candidates Will Also Have (Preferrred Requirements):
Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot repair and installation of manufacturing machine components
Fundamental understating of CNC ladder logic
Advanced understanding of root cause analysis and FMEA

Summary Pay Range:
$26.25 - $33.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
