Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain and maintain your State Life & Health Insurance license and complete the DSI Advisor Training Program
Develop a fundamental and technical understanding of the specialized Disability Income and Life Insurance products DSI offers
Clearly communicate our program options to clients via both phone and email
Be able to answer client questions on products enrollment instructions policy comparisons
Cross-sell products by explaining need and value depending on clients profile
Maintain meticulous records in our CRM system following the DSI sales process
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)
CRM or similar agency management software experience preferred
Attributes of a Successful Disability Advisors possess:
Professionalism in all communications both written and verbal
Organized focus on results and the ability to prioritize high-value tasks
Ability to listen carefully identify needs and empathize with clients
Motivated to make both yourself and your team successful
Confidence in yourself and your company with a phone presence that demonstrates it
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration team leadership and cross-functional partnership.
