Eastgate Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located in Cincinnati Ohio. With four procedure rooms the center provides high-quality cost-effective outpatient surgical and procedural care primarily for GI and Endoscopies.
Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Gastro Health Eastgate Surgery Center combines advanced technology with compassionate patient-centered care in a convenient setting.
Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op PACU and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients delivering individualized nursing care monitoring recovery and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. Position may cross-train to Endoscopy Procedures.
Hours:
Full Time; MondayFriday 6:00 AM4:00 PM (hours may vary based on center needs).
What Youll do:
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings
Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery
Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients
Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols
Support patient education and post-op instructions
What Youll bring:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current RN license (unencumbered)
Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)
Endoscopy Specialty experience
Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequent standing walking lifting and manual dexterity
Exposure to surgical environments equipment and patient care areas
