About the role.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the proper operation of Line Equipment WWTP Equipment Utilities and Cold Storage Equipment.

What youll be doing.

• Carry out duties assigned by the Electrical Supervisor and E&I Planner

• Complete scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems and electrical system faults

• Perform basic PLC programming changes as necessary

• Use the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.

• Technically Complete (TECO) work orders and enter confirmation comments in SAP.

• Identifyequipment malfunctions and create Notifications in SAP to have issues addressed.

• Maintain shop and follow good housekeeping practices.

• Follow McCain maintenanceHACCPand Environmental programs such as Temporary RepairsSanitation after MaintenanceWaste Management and Recycling etc.

• Follow Lockout / Tag-Out procedures and all McCain Safety Policies

• Wearappropriate PPEand follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

• Work safe and promote a safe working environment to fellow employees

• Complete Job Safety Plans / Recognize safety hazards and correct them

What youll need to be successful.

• Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician or enrolled in apprenticeship program

• Dual trade Industrial Mechanic / Industrial Electrician is an asset
• Knowledge of CSA code for Electrical Rooms Power Distributions and Construction Jobs
• Must be able and willing to perform shift work: 2 days / 2 nights and 4-off schedule12 hourshifts
• Must be able and willing to come in on days-off during Sanitation days and Shutdowns

Compensation Package:$ -$ Starting at35.28 CAD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
