Course instruction will be dictated by the course that is taught. Adjunct faculty work part-time with cohorts of up to 32 students. Adjunct faculty at Dominican are members of SEIU.
QualificationsResponsibilities
- Teach (course at Graduate level)
- Evaluate and grade student work and provide feedback to students
- Mentor and advise students on the progress of their projects and coursework
- Uphold academic performance standards and integrity
- Perform other course related duties as assigned
- Positions possible in the following domains: fundamentals of OT physical rehabilitation psychosocial pediatrics program development education and leadership and management. (Teaching domain determined by course)

Required Qualifications
- Masters (minimum) or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or related degree
- One year of higher education experience or equivalent teaching research
- Proficient or able to learn in Microsoft Office Suite Google Suite Moodle (online classroom management tool) & Zoom
- Must have recent work experience related to the course content domain
Preferred Qualifications
- More than one year of higher education teaching experience
- Prior experience teaching Occupational Therapy
