Job Summary
Responsibilities
Perform brazing of copper pipes and fittings using approved techniques and filler materials.
Clean cut and align copper pipes prior to brazing to ensure proper fit and joint integrity.
Conduct visual checks and pressure/leak tests on completed joints.
Follow industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS ISO) and project-specific requirements.
Adhere to workplace safety protocols including handling of torches gases and PPE usage.
Maintain records of brazing activities inspections and certifications.
Work closely with supervisors engineers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
Technical training or certification in brazing/welding (preferred).
Valid Certified Brazer qualification (e.g. AWS B2.2/B2.3 or equivalent).
Specialized training in HVAC/refrigeration piping systems is an advantage.
Required Skills:
