Job Summary

Talenture Group is looking for reliable and professional Standard Drivers to provide daily transport services on assigned routes or to designated departments/personnel. The Standard Driver is responsible for punctual safe transport and basic vehicle care while representing the company with courtesy and discretion.

What Youll Do

Ø Operate assigned company vehicle(s) on a fixed route or for a specific department/personnel ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.

Ø Follow the agreed daily schedule and notify the Operation officer immediately of any delays or issues.

Ø Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (tyres oil lights brakes fuel) and report defects or maintenance needs.

Ø Keep the vehicle clean (interior and exterior) and ensure fuel cards and vehicle documents are secured and used appropriately.

Ø Maintain accurate trip logs mileage records and fuel reports; submit required paperwork on time.

Ø Assist with safe loading and unloading of light items when necessary.

Ø Adhere strictly to traffic laws company driving policies and safety procedures.

Ø Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and act with discretion when handling sensitive documents or passenger belongings.

Ø Be available for occasional overtime or split shifts as operational needs demand.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Ø Valid Nigerian drivers licence appropriate for the vehicle class.

Ø Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience; experience in a standard/corporate driver role preferred.

Ø Clean driving record (no major traffic convictions).

Ø Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent (preferred).

Ø Basic literacy and numeracy to complete logs and follow written instructions.

Skills & Competencies

Ø Excellent knowledge of local roads traffic patterns and alternative routes.

Ø Punctual dependable with strong time-management skills.

Ø Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve minor operational problems.

Ø Basic mechanical awareness to spot and report vehicle faults.

Ø High level of integrity discretion and professionalism.
