The Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls also offers sumptuous dining options at its on-site Milestones Fallsview Restaurant along with 23 private function rooms and boardrooms totaling over 40000 square feet of meeting space including our 8400 sq. ft. Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer. Whether our guests are traveling on business or taking a much needed vacation our mission is to always exceed the expectations of our guests. We are currently seeking Kitchen Helper for our various kitchen outlets (i.e. Restaurant Concierge Lounge and Room Service) who has a passion for delivering outstanding service to our Guests. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef this position is responsible for assisting in the efficient operations of the kitchen by ensuring all the flatware chinaware glassware pots used in the food and beverage operations are cleaned transported and stored in an orderly many. What youll be doing:Clean and sanitize all china glassware silverware flatware pots and pans in the hotel. Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens grills stoves hoods fryers preparation slicers steam kettles tables and meals as to all health and safety regulations and standards and ensure a clean and safe working all assigned tasks to set standards as instructed by a manager or supervisor (while constantly seeking to improve).Maintaining the dish room in a clean and orderly to work in proper attire and on time following proper clock in/ clock out as outlined in the employee handbook. Participating in daily standup meetings. Demonstrating appropriate Marriott service behaviours. All others duties as assigned. What were looking for:Must be reliable and a self- starter. High school or equivalent education be reliable and a self- starter.
