GeneralSummary:The Behavior Technician is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic conjunction with the BCBA Supervisor the Program Director will determine which tasks a Behavior Technician may perform as a function of his or her training experience and RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis. Uses contingencies of reinforcement and implements specific procedures for skill with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment preference assessments and assists with functional assessment variables that might affect the client (e.g. illness relocation medication).Generates objective session notes by describing what occurred during sessions and submits notes in a timely continuous/discontinuous measurement proceduresand permanent product recording data and analyzes graphs and reports client progress to behavior reduction interventions and procedures. Identifies the essential components of a written behavior reduction with applicable legal regulatory and workplace reporting requirements (e.g. mandatory abuse and neglect reporting).Communicates effectively with members families supervisor and other families and caregivers regarding client needs and progress (e.g. providing verbal summary of sessions confirming pick up/drop-off times requesting hygiene supplies).Maintains professional boundaries with members families and other an approved schedule acceptable level of attendance and accurate timesheetWorks as a member of a team serving members and individual and group meetings as cleanliness of and follows disinfection protocols for the outpatient other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of :Education HS/GED -One year verified experience volunteering or working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required (within 90 days from beginning the training curriculum).REGULATORY:Minimum 21 years of Drivers License 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements if possess and maintain Level 1 fingerprint clearance throughout and First Aid certification if required (Employer provides).Initial current negative TB test result if required (Employer provides).Questions about this position Contact us
