JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant - Academics
STATUS/HOURS: Part-Time - 25 hours per week (flexible daytime hours; minimum three
days per week; in person)
REPORTS TO: Academic Coordinator
LOCATION: Wauwatosa
JOB SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant-Academics position is a flexible part-time in-person position that requires a minimum of three days per week on campus. This role supports the Academic Coordinator on a variety of projects that contribute to the Colleges Occupational Therapy Assistant Physical Therapist Assistant and Nursing programs as well as Student Services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for a range of tasks related to various academic programs and student services ensuring the accuracy of student records data entry and compliance with clinical requirements. This role involves maintaining precise documentation for enrollment academic standards and program completion as well as assisting students during enrollment periods.
- Maintenance of academic records includes managing enrollment term assignments and program completion documentation.
- Data entry and tracking projects are essential for effective management of academic and student information.
- Providing customer service to students encompassing assistance with school account login documentation of clinical requirements and addressing general inquiries about the College atmosphere.
- Event planning including order placement set-up coordination and room reservations.
- Providing support in the College testing center as a proctor to prospective students.
EDUCATION
- A candidate must possess the minimum requirement of an associate degree.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and the ability to frequently enter data are required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to work independently and interact well with others.
- Flexibility is needed to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
