Core Mission Focused on influencing government policy/legislative direction and public opinion to improve the environment in Galderma China.

Requirement Education/Training:
Bachelor degree or above
Medical/Pharmaceutical/Biological and related background is preferred
Work Experience:
10 years of work experience on Government Affairs or equivalent position
Experience in the relevant government authority or in pharmaceutical industry will be a plus
Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position:
Proven capability in representing the company in cooperation with industrial associations.
Proven capability in understanding the law analyzing the legislative and enforcement trend and translating the same to practical enhancement actions.
Proven capability in drafting (a) relevant reporting documents in government investigation cases and (b) analysis and recommendations for enhancement of the holistic corporate governance system.
Proficiency in English both oral and written.
Proven communication and inter-personal skills in complex situations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main Duties:
Building/maintaining relationships with governments trade associations industry coalitions public services and other authorities to influence policies and positions.
Monitoring analyzing and reporting on government policy and legislation (e.g. identifying emerging policy/regulatory trends developing issues and position papers for presentation to business leadership etc.).
Developing and implementing government relations initiatives (e.g. trade association member outreach grassroots employee/public calls to action political action committees etc.).
Lead the strategy and the tactical execution of Market Access projects and initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with other functions to build networks understanding and close partnerships with key decision makers and leverage influence through joint programs of action in order to maximize Galderma products success.
Anticipate and influence Contracting and Tendering situations and develop strategies in order to deal with challenges and maximize their opportunities for the business.
