Overview

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Driver. The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances customers employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful courteous and professional customer service.

This pay for this position starts at $14 / hour and islocated at 8350 Hangar Blvd. Orlando FL 32827.

This is an on call position. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) days of open availability one (1) weekend day of availability is REQUIRED. Candidateswill be called in to work up to three (3) days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed following all rules of the road
  • Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
  • Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
  • Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance including but not limited to ensuring proper oil tire and fluid levels
  • Ensure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline if needed
  • Complete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles
  • Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
  • May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
  • May be asked to assist customers with directions car options luggage loading and unloading and basic policy/procedures
  • Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
  • A variety of vehicles are driven in all weather and road conditions
  • Operate GPS (personal or GPS with in the vehicle) while on assigned route

Additional Responsibilities

  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment skill development training and goal setting
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have valid drivers license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years.
  • Must be able to understand read write and speak English
  • Must be willing to stand and walk (3-5 miles) for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions withmoderate exposure to unusual elements such as extremetemperatures dirt dust fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
