Job Summary

Position Profile:We are currently searching forExperienced Aircraft Assemblersto join our team inVictoria : 93200Vacancies: 5Duties & Responsibilities:Study and interpret engineering blueprints technical drawings and specifications to understand assembly requirementsUtilize various hand tools power tools and machinery to cut shape and form sheet metal components according to specificationsAssemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products adhering to strict quality standardsConduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure accuracy quality and adherence to aerospace industry standardsUse precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances making adjustments as necessarySafely handle and store sheet metal materials ensuring proper organization and inventory controlWork closely with other members of the manufacturing team including engineers and machinists to achieve seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assembliesAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines contributing to a safe and efficient working environmentEducation and Professional Qualifications:Completion of a college or other program in aviation or aeronautical technology with a focus in aircraft manufacturing is requiredCompletion of a high school diploma or equivalent is requiredAny additional technical or trades qualifications/certificates or training would be considered an assetAbility to complete a criminal background checkSkills & Experience:Minimum 6 months of experience as an assembler.2 years of manufacturing aerospace warehousing or construction experience is considered an assetProficiency in using a variety of hand tools power tools and sheet metal fabrication machineryAbility to interpret and understand drawings blueprints and technical specificationsStrong verbal and written communication skills (English)Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a teamExceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workCommitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelinesPosition opening: Aircraft AssemblerCompany Name: De Havilland CanadaBusiness Address: 4100 Westwinds Dr NE Calgary AB T3J 4L2Language of Work: EnglishTerm: Permanent full-timeSalary: $27.73 - $35.65 CAD per year per collective agreementBenefits: MSP Premiums Health and Welfare plan including vision dental & drug coverage per collective of Work: 1959 De Havilland Way Sidney BC V8L 5V5Contact Information: Nikolas Audette 3699 63 Ave NE Calgary AB T3J 0G7
