KIA Automotive Line Technician
Location: Jerry Seiner KIA Salt Lake City
About the Role: Jerry Seiner KIA is seeking a skilled KIA Automotive Line Technician to join our dynamic service team. This position is perfect for a technician who excels at performing maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. If youre passionate about delivering exceptional vehicle service and staying current with industry standards we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance according to manufacturer specifications using industry-standard procedures tools and technical manuals.
- Communication: Communicate additional maintenance needs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with service advisers and the service manager to meet guest needs using diagnostic equipment to adhere to brand specifications.
- Inspection & Testing: Follow checklists and company processes to examine repair or replace parts and components and carefully test vehicle functions while driving.
- Continuous Learning: Update job knowledge through ASE and automotive brand certification classes staying informed about inspection standards emissions programs and technical manuals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Skills: Ability to read and comprehend automobile characteristics and technical features.
- Experience: Previous experience in an automotive service organization with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirements: Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the United States. State Inspection and County Emissions certification preferred.
