Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and professional Non-Armed Security Guards to provide security services at multiple retail locations throughout Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers employees and property while deterring theft vandalism and other disruptive behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor retail premises to prevent theft vandalism and other security risks
Conduct regular foot patrols and remain visible to deter criminal activity
Observe report and document suspicious activity or incidents accurately
Respond promptly and professionally to security concerns alarms or disturbances
Enforce site rules policies and procedures in a courteous manner
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers or staff as needed
Coordinate with store management and local law enforcement when required
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Security Guard License
Prior security or retail loss prevention experience preferred (but not required)
Strong observation communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Reliable transportation and ability to work at multiple retail locations
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Schedule & Availability
Flexible scheduling including days evenings weekends and holidays
Full-time and part-time shifts available
