Summary

The Superintendent Coordinator provides technical support to the field and office teams under the supervision of their Superintendent. This role will have the opportunity to work in the office aiding the Superintendent in tracking directing and coordinating the drywall and steel stud framing activities in accordance with the project plans and specifications. The Superintendent Coordinator will aid the project team in the review of weekly timecards and onboarding new field employees.

Essential Functions

Primary Responsibilities/Duties

  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent from the beginning of a project thorough closeout.
  • Regular job walks to understand the complete scope while ensuring safety quality and productions are being met.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the projects and work to exceed set standards.
  • Use effective communication with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all pertinent information is provided; proactive communication with field leaders on bid productions and other preconstruction related information to maintain consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate site logistics with the client to ensure we are meeting/exceeding production goals.
  • Process field work tickets.
  • V Planning production control identification and reporting of change orders
  • Assist HR in onboarding new field employees and troubleshooting the onboarding process as needed


Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients.
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Excel MS Word and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex documents construction documents i.e. blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree; Construction Management Business or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • An internship within the Construction Industry.
  • Detail oriented thorough and deadline/goal driven.
  • Ability to multi-task prioritize and be responsive to some disruption.
  • Problem solving mindset.

Sedentary Work

  • Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 - 15 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying.
  • Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
  • Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Travel

  • Up to 90% primarily in their designated Market.
  • Ability to complete regular day travel for site visits and client meetings.
