Job Summary
Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Java Developer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Vienna VA. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite 2 days telework).We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Intermediate Developer is responsible for the design documentation development modification testing deployment and support for new or existing IT application software on Unclassified Secret and Top Secret enclaves. Development currently uses the Agile Scrum Methodology to gather requirements develop deliver and maintain software Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Accurately represent customer requirements i.e. gather and interpret relevant data and information using excellent listening interpersonal written and oral communication and maintain advanced scripts using Java JavaScript. XQuery Python HTML SQL or any other scripting languages approved by the functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas and develop block diagrams and logic flow detailed designs into computer fix and refine the computer software to produce the required software to reduce operating time or improve technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements design specifications to code integrate and test software advanced system in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements design specifications to code integrate and test software Skills and Competencies:4 years related experienceMust be able to demonstrate working in an operational environment where priorities change be able to demonstrate expertise in information system design including application programming on large-scale database management services and the development of complex software to satisfy design expertise working with NoSQL Java Programmer Requirements:Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with CI PolyAbility to work on-site in Vienna VA (3 days per week)Experience with AWS cloud environmentsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong documentation and communication abilitiesEducation:Bachelors degree in related fieldOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
