Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Idaho Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking aFull-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team atIdaho State Correctional Centerlocated inKuna ID.Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) (Travel) works between various facilities/locations throughout the state according to contract needs providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The LPN works under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
Compact licensure preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience
Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nurse experience preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
