Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to team a project development management and optimization of critical Power BI visualizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with complex data models integrating diverse data sources and delivering high-performance visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications :
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the semantic data model that pulls data from SharePoint lists Microsoft Excel and Azure Dataverse.
Develop optimize and troubleshoot Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure efficient performance and accurate data representation.
Improve calculation speed and overall report responsiveness through best practices in DAX data modeling and query optimization.
Integrate new data sources seamlessly into existing Power BI models ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Debug troubleshoot and repair any issues related to data refreshes visualizations or data accuracy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
Document data models processes and best practices for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing complex Power BI projects including semantic modeling and data integration.
Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and data modeling best practices.
Experience working with SharePoint lists Microsoft Excel and Azure Dataverse.
Ability to optimize report performance and improve calculation speeds.
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving data and visualization issues.
Familiarity with data governance security and compliance considerations in Power BI.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
