Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Fairmont Baku located at iconic Flame Towers. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance our market position in this vibrant and rapidly evolving market.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and achieve business goals
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales and marketing team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends competition and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and adapt business practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives
- Manage department budgets financial forecasts and analyze performance metrics recommending corrective actions as needed
- Oversee all group transient and catering/banquet sales activities to optimize revenue streams
- Direct advertising public relations and promotional activities in coordination with corporate marketing departments
- Maintain high visibility across the organization participating in sales presentations property tours and key customer meetings
- Engage with local community and professional organizations to promote a positive image of the company
- Ensure the integrity of sales data and effective use of CRM systems across all verticals
- Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and implement innovative strategies to enhance online presence and lead generation
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing preferably in a similar industry or market
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles with a strong focus on revenue growth and market expansion
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies in competitive markets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Sound business acumen and strategic thinking coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in sales management software CRM systems and digital marketing tools
- Experience in the Azerbaijan market or similar emerging markets is highly desirable
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Azerbaijani/Turkish is a plus
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required for business development and client relationship management
