Modernize production tools: lead local initiatives to replace outdated technical tools with cutting-edge solutions directly enhancing operational efficiency with the support of the engineering team.
Boost Reliability: Implement new preventive & analytics maintenance methodologies and advanced engineering practices to significantly improve the reliability of our production assets.
Optimize performance: Identify and address both technical and process related bottlenecks leading to inefficiencies (waste of time suboptimal design unreliability) using the Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Drive innovation: Be instrumental in integrating new and emerging technologies to maintain our leadership in the industrial and medical gas section.
Establish a clear visualization of the current technical solution and process by gathering information through investigation shop-floor observation and interviews.
Analysis of the root causes leading to the inefficiencies.
Define the new process assess the impact on the production (new way of working new equipment change of lay-out) and the expected efficiencies (business case).
Implement projects together with the production team and monitor the adoption.
Ensure compliance with current legislation safety quality and environmental standards
You will contribute to this mission by:
Collaborate with the colleagues of the different AL BeNeLux filling sites and the Air Liquide NCE cluster.
Bringing a pragmatic and technical approach towards practical problems
Navigating through a complex organization by proactively reaching to colleagues
Having a can do mindset and not being afraid to get on the field.
You will join a dynamic team focused on improving our ways of working and making an impact within the organization. You will be trained to use the continuous Improvement methodologies and tools in combination with a hands-on approach. This position is a unique opportunity to build strong transversal competencies (technical soft skill project management) while learning more about the production of industrial and medical gases.
Are you a MATCH
Education:
Master degree in engineering specialized in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent fields (Technical/ Digital background)
Drivers license
Soft and Hard Skills:
Technical appreciation (for example to understand how cylinder filling works) with a digital mindset
Continuous improvement LEAN or change management experience (nice to have or willingness to learn)
Resilient and highly motivated: able to work with competing priorities in a complex organization
Languages:
English fluency is mandatory
French
Additional information
Position based in Zaventem Belgium for a period of 24 months.
A car sharing system will be made available for the candidate to travel towards the different filling plants.
